We loved the rural quality of residenza d'arte. The beautiful collection of art and the expertise shown by the owner and his lovely daughter were both very impressive! The complete lack of hi-tec was a relief and the privacy was welcomed both by my wife and me. Like its the case in most Italian hotels you have to bring your own soap and shampoo but this seems like a very low investment compared to the overwhelming beauty of the place and its surroundings From the terrace the panorama is truly spectacular, every night we drank the best wines the region has to offer while overlooking the rolling hills. It certainly makes you wonder why we live in cramped cities while being stuck in traffic jams half the time.

Its always difficult to return to the rat race after spending a week in paradise. Thank you so much for all the effort you took to make sure we had the best holiday ever. The kids had a fabulous time and they even picked up some Italian words. Slow travel is the perfect description of our holiday and I don't think we will ever celebrate our holidays in another way.
