Imagine: pastures, orchards, a well where cows drink from in summer, a herd of goat that crosses the road just like that, an idyllic church, a handful beautiful farms and - believe it or not - an old fire-station.
Fact is that, when you stop here, you will only hear yourself breath. There are special discoveries in life that you can hardly describe: Riemerhof in Tagusens is definitely one of those.
The road to Tagusens is barely wide enough for a car. On your way to Riemerhof, you will pass the ‘speckbauer’ of this region, farms and a few sharp curves in the road.
Riemerhof is first of all, a farm. Only, you have to imagine something totally different than what you’re used to when you picture a farm. The Riemerhof has a few cows, a couple of rabbits, sometimes a pig and a cat with 6 lives left, named Bingo. "Grandma " Frieda - her age is a well-kept secret - and her daughter Paula run this farm together.
What can you expect here? Two apartments and two rooms, a very hospitable reception, a beautiful environment with endless paths and lots and lots of small game. Do you want to pick raspberries? No problem. Other berries? Also possible. Eat eggs from free running chicken? Sure thing. A nice beer in your room or on your balcony? You need only to ask.
And in winter? Do you remember those old post cards with pictures taken during wintertime? With more than one metre of snow on the roof? They were made here…
Skiing, snowboarding, langlauf on the Seizer Alm, from " baby hill ” to black slope, you are in the middle of the Schlern area.
