B & B Maso di Villa
With a large garden around the house, fresh Chiara bouquets in beautiful vases and a very romantic decoration, Maso di Villa has become an excellent country inn. It will take you some time before you will find this old stone farm house in the Trevigian hills, but once you pass the threshold, you will realise that this is the place for ultimate relaxation.
The house itself will remind you of an English cottage, with beam ceilings and very romantic, country furnishing and, courtesy of the owner, flowers everywhere.
Maso di Villa has six rooms, all breathing the same atmosphere and style as the rest of the house. You also have access to the cosy living room with different sofas, plaids and pillows, the breakfast room and the garden with five acres of ground with vineyards and fruit trees.
It is a real joy to come down for breakfast; either in the breakfast room, or, on nice warmer days, in the garden. Rich and perfectly catered are the words that come to mind. Home made pies, yoghurt, fresh bread, honey from the area, fresh orange juice and other juices and much more. A healthy, sturdy breakfast and of you go to discover the rest of the beautiful surroundings.
Maso di Villa is close to Treviso, also referred to as little Venice, Asolo, a medieval town and to Venice as well. Some good advice if you decide to visit Venice: take your car to Conegliano and then hop on the train from there on!
