Beachhouse Duna Grande. A marvellous house, just a stones throw from the ocean in a conservation area, on the Fontanile estate in the Southern Tuscan region called Maremma.
The mansion Duna Grande offers accommodation for 10 people, has a surface of 246m2 and a terrace of 53m2. It was completely restored and redecorated in 2004, using the latest techniques in ecological architecture. In this protected area - which is unique even for Italy - nothing can be build or altered. Even the old basin had to be creatively turned into a swimming pool (depth of 1,40m). The living and dining room have a total length of 14 meters, forming the centre of the house. Except for a large double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and private terrace, all rooms are on the ground floor.
The automatically watered garden of Duna Grande is a high level of landscaping architecture, and blends in with the surrounding nature. There is a private parking lot right behind the house, in the shade, that is lit when it gets dark. The entire estate Fontanile is enclosed. The beach is approximately 135 meters from the house.
From the gates of the estate it’s only a short walk to the beach, where the Tyrannian sea lies at your feet.
