Corte Altavilla
Corte Altavilla lies in the centre of the small town Conversano, in the province of Bari.
This Bed and Breakfast is packed with charming details like half circular windows, small steps and beam ceilings. The reception and breakfast area have a beautiful round ceiling. A lot of the walls in this building haven’t been painted or otherwise treated, creating a rustic atmosphere.
From the basement to the attic - the apartments are located throughout the entire house. They are all completely self-sustaining because of the presence of a small kitchen. The higher situated suites have doors that open out to a little French balcony, which provides a view of the Roman cathedral of Conversano and the small streets of this historical town.
Not far from here, in the old city Bari, you can visit the S. Nicola church where St. Nicholas, whose birthday is December 6th, is buried.
Corte Altavilla is an excellent address for an active holiday in this region that is still unknown to many people. The resident staff will gladly point you to the sights worth visiting and fun activities in the nearby area.
