This fabulous hotel in the heart of the harbour town of Trieste, also home of the espresso giant Illy, is named after a small tree in the tiny patio, Albero Nascosto means "hidden tree".
Owner Aldo Stock has transformed L'Albero Nascosto to a very cosy residence where guests visiting Trieste can remain for a short or longer period. Not only did he find an original name for the hotel itself, the names of the rooms are also quite extraordinary. They are all named after trees, and in Italian, it sounds even nicer.

The warm, calm rooms are all decorated in a very pleasant way, they breathe atmosphere.
Wood, light colours and high ceilings provide for an enormous feeling of space. Paintings of several local artists decorate the walls. You can ask for information about the artists and objects at Albero Nascosto but for those interested, a visit to the workshops can also be arranged.
Almost all the rooms offer a well appointed cooking area. Lovely how you can decide for yourself what you prefer: cook your meal in your room or go out for dinner in one of the, of course, many fish restaurants this town has to offer.
