Life is one big party, that is the first thought that comes to mind when you ask us about our experiences with Torre Coccaro.
This bright white Masseria estate with its own chapel, contrasts beautifully with the clear blue sky - with a single cloud here and there - and the Adriatic sea that lies at the horizon. This Masseria is located close to the sea and - for golfing enthusiasts among you - not far from the splendid golf course San Domenico with its 18 holes and par 72. If you don’t feel like driving there yourself, the free shuttle bus will take you to it.
What we like so much about Torre Coccaro is the special feeling you get as a guest there. Despite its five stars, this hotel is luxurious in a different way. Simple chique best fits this description in our opinion. No fuss with a lot of unnecessary details, but easy and laidback. The type of location where guests will settle and feel at home very easily.
Torre Coccaro has 15 classic rooms, located across the pool; 8 superiors that have a little more exclusive view and are situated in a more quiet spot; and 9 junior suites that all differ from each other. Then there are 4 junior suites deluxe, of which 3 are situated in the old tower, and 1 is built just like the Orange garden suite in the old cave. Absolutely a unique and very special experience!
Here you can be lazy in style at the exclusive pool or the very trendy private beach with restaurant and lounge-area. Of course you can also pamper yourself at the Aveda Spa, the pride of this estate. It isn’t very large, but does have a wide range of beauty treatments and massages.
Something completely different? Ostuni or Alberobello with its trulli, the baroque city Lecce and the Medieval Otranto are awaiting your arrival!
