Relais La Sommità
When you are standing on the terrace - staring out over the sea - you wouldn’t imagine you are under the Italian sun. The bright white roofs and walls, the abundance of palm trees, cacti and olive trees gave us a North African feeling.

The old town centre of Ostuni consists of several small allies, in one of which Relais La Sommità is situated in an old, characteristic Palazzo, dating from the sixteenth century. From the outside, you nor any other passer by would guess that behind the thick walls of this Palazzo lies a very stylish and luxurious Relais, that has just 10 beautiful rooms.
Here everything is about elegance, refinement and luxury. All elements of the interior are in tune. In the rooms, nothing is left to coincidence either; from the towels in the bathrooms to the bed linen and robes, nothing has been overlooked.
Whether you are here for a week or just one day, La Sommità is a perfect place to relax and catch your breath.
